Every worksheet on this site follows the same proven structure: the relevant equations and symbol definitions are listed at the top, followed by 10–12 progressively challenging problems. Each problem has a fully worked solution, hidden by default so students can attempt the question first and reveal the answer when ready.
- Curriculum-aligned: mapped to GCSE, A-Level, AP Physics 1 & 2, and IB Physics specifications.
- Two formats: work online with show/hide answers, or download a clean printable PDF.
- Full answer keys: every problem has a step-by-step solution, not just a final value.
- Free, no signup: teachers and students can use everything without registering.

How to use a physics equations worksheet effectively
A physics equations worksheet is only useful if you treat it as practice, not a test. Here is the approach that produces the fastest improvement:
- Cover the equations first. Before looking at the problems, write out the equations from memory. If you cannot recall them, study the equations box on the worksheet for two minutes, then close it and try again.
- Identify what is given. For each problem, list the known quantities with their symbols and units. This single habit eliminates most errors.
- Pick the equation, then rearrange. Decide which equation relates what you know to what you want. Rearrange algebraically before substituting numbers.
- Substitute and solve. Keep units in your working — if the units do not match, the equation choice is wrong.
- Reveal the answer. Check both the numerical value and the method against the worked solution.

Frequently asked questions
Are these physics equations worksheets free?
Yes. Every worksheet on this site is free to view online and free to download as a PDF. There is no signup or paywall.
Which curriculum do these worksheets follow?
The equations and problem styles match the GCSE (AQA, Edexcel, OCR), A-Level, AP Physics 1 and 2, and IB Physics syllabuses. Each worksheet lists the level it is best suited to.
Can I print these worksheets for my class?
Yes. Teachers are welcome to print and distribute the PDF versions to students at no cost. The PDFs are designed to print cleanly on standard A4 or US Letter paper.
Are answers included?
Every problem has a fully worked solution, not just a final answer. On the website the solutions are hidden by default so students can attempt the problem first; the printable PDF includes a complete answer key on the final pages.
Do you cover GCSE, A-Level and AP physics?
Yes. The core equations (kinematics, Newton's laws, energy, waves, electricity, thermodynamics) are required across all of these qualifications. Visit the By Level page for a curriculum-specific breakdown.
